Radon Testing

Radon gas is in every building. It's invisible, odourless and tasteless. Unless you've tested, you have no way of knowing your current level of risk is.

Testing Duration

Short-Term Testing

Duration: 2 - 7 days

Typical scenarios for short-term tests include real estate purchases, diagnostics or follow-up testing after a mitigation has been implemented. We recommend against short-term testing as a first-time test for homeowners.

Long-Term Testing

Duration: 91+ days

Because radon levels fluctuate throughout the day, week and even the season, long-term testing is recommended for accurate and reliable results that we can plan mitigation strategies around.

Not Sure If Radon is a Risk?

Radon is actually a risk to everyone. We've all heard that exposure to it increases your risk of developing lung cancer but did you know it's the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking?

Your risk of developing cancer from radon exposure depends on a few factors:

  • The level of radon in your house
  • How long you are exposed
  • Whether you smoke (exposure to radon and tobacco use together can significantly increase your risk of lung cancer)
